PERFORMANCE

Storytelling through movement, fire, and light.

Tech Valkyria performances are not background entertainment.
They are ritual moments — embodied stories of power, transformation, and presence.

Each performance is shaped by the space, the audience, and the intention of the event.

Concept for Medeltidsvecka '26 - tema LOVE

When the last summer tide reached the shores of Visby, a battered vessel came through the Baltic fog bearing strange cargo from the eastern seas.

Beneath worn sailcloth and guarded by weary hands rested a sacred relic of silk — threaded in gold, marked with forgotten signs, and whispered to reveal the hidden burial road of a lost prince whose fleet vanished beyond the edge of the known world.

The ship belonged to Valgerðr Stormsdóttir, storm-marked seer of the northern seas, a woman spoken of in harbors wherever cold waters break against stone.

Awaiting in Visby walked Shen Tao, a seasoned monk of the eastern trade routes and former protector of merchant convoys, a man who had crossed kingdoms, pirate waters, and the ruins of dying empires.

Yet word travels swiftly in port cities.

Before long, whispers spread through the fish markets, taverns, and torchlit alleys of Visby:
of black-sailed hunters,
of eastern gold,
of a silk map cursed by the sea itself.

So began the tale of Valgerðr Stormsdóttir and Shen Tao —
bound not by oath, nor kingdom, but by the tide.

Together they walked the whale-roads of the medieval world through storm and fire, pursued across harbors and forgotten shores by men who would kill for what the relic promised.

Some say the two burned the silk upon the cliffs beyond Visby, casting its secrets back to the sea where they belonged.

Others swear that when storm winds rise over the Baltic, the Valkyrie and the Pirate Monk may still be seen wandering the distant roads beneath the Silk Tide 🌊
